SUR LA GRAND’RUE

This former 18th-century hospital in the center of Cossonay, listed as note 3 in the cantonal inventory, currently houses a physiotherapy practice and two apartments.

Following the departure of the physiotherapists, the owners launched this conversion project with the aim of creating a new apartment in place of the practice, with minimal intervention. In order to take advantage of its location on the same level as the garden, openings were planned in the façade, while respecting the rhythm and general appearance of this beautiful stone façade.

This transformation was also an opportunity to replace the existing electric heating with a geothermal heat pump for energy efficiency.
